National Health Commission: my country has cumulatively carried out more than 9 million doses of new coronavirus vaccination, which proves to be safe
Zeng Yixin, deputy director of the National Health Commission and head of the vaccine research and development team of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, said at a press conference on the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council on the 9th that since December 15th, my country has officially launched the vaccination of key populations. So far, nearly 7.5 million doses have been vaccinated for key populations across the country. In addition to the previous 1.6 million doses for high-risk groups, my country has carried out more than 9 million doses of new coronavirus vaccination.
In the inoculation work, we have established a relatively complete set of inoculation sites, training of inoculation personnel, screening of the recipients, monitoring of adverse reactions, emergency treatment, and expert consultation for severe adverse reactions, etc., to ensure the safety and smoothness of the inoculation work.
Zeng Yixin said that more than 9 million doses of vaccination have once again proved that my country's new coronavirus vaccine has good safety.
With the conditional listing of the new crown virus vaccine, especially with the gradual improvement of production and supply guarantee capacity, my country will comprehensively and orderly promote the vaccination of high-transmission groups, high-risk groups and the general population, and implement free vaccination for all.
Through the orderly implementation of vaccination, eligible people can achieve "every need", thereby building an immune barrier and blocking the spread of the new coronavirus in the country.
