He added: The completion of the third phase of the lanes for public transport buses and taxis is the culmination of the great success of the first and second phases, as the bus lanes in the first and second stages contributed to reducing the journey time for bus lines to approximately 5 minutes per bus with an improvement in time The trip is estimated at 24%, and it also contributed to raising the level of satisfaction of passengers, bus drivers and taxis, noting that the number of bus lines that use private bus lanes is 40, of which 19 are bus lines that use the path of Khalid Bin Al-Waleed Street.

It should be noted that the authority implemented in a previous stage 7.3 kilometers long bus routes, which included parts of Naif Street with a length of one kilometer, parts of Al Ittihad Street with a length of 500 meters, Al Mina Street with a length of 1700 meters (from Kuwait Street to Falcon Intersection) and Al Mankhool Street (from the roundabout Satwa to Sheikh Rashid Street with a length of 1800 meters), Al Khaleej Street with a length of 1700 meters (from Al Khor Street to Al Musalla Street), Khalid Bin Al Waleed Street (from the intersection with Al Mina Street to Street No. 16 with a length of 100 meters), and Al Ghubaiba Street (from the intersection with Al Musalla Street).
