Berlin (dpa / bb) - The table tennis women from TTC Berlin Eastside celebrated their first win of the season in the fourth game of the Bundesliga on Saturday.
After two draws and one defeat, the Champions League winner defeated newcomer SV Weil 5-3 in the catch-up game on Saturday.
As a result of the success, Eastside improved to 4: 4 points and fifth place ahead of Weil (4: 8 points) in the table, which was characterized by many lost games.
Weil is again the opponent of the TTC women in the semifinals of the Cup Final Four on Sunday at the same place (10 a.m.), in which DJK Kolbermoor and TSV Schwabhausen are also represented.
The points for the TTC went to Xiaona Shan (2), Britt Eerland (2) and Nina Mittelham (1), who surprisingly also made a match.
Jessica Göbel lost as number four her two games in the lower pair cross against Sophia Klee and Vivien Scholz.
