More than 7,000 new cases of Corona 19 have occurred in Japan for three consecutive days.
According to NHK Broadcasting, 7,790 people were tested positive for Corona 19 on the 9th, and the 2nd largest number of confirmed cases ever came out after 7,882 the day before.
The number of confirmed cases of 7,000 per day is the third day following 7,570 people on the 7th when an emergency re-declaration was decided in the metropolitan area including Tokyo.
The cumulative confirmed number reached 283,000, and the number of deaths increased by 59 the previous day to 4,35.
Meanwhile, the heads of regional organizations in three regions, Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, requested the government to review the issuance of the emergency the day before.
As a result, the first re-declared emergency application areas in four metropolitan areas including Tokyo may be expanded.
