  In the initial stage of development, in order to improve the quality of development, shorten the development cycle, and improve the level of project management, the chief engineer system decided to adopt full three-dimensional digital design/manufacturing/management technology in the development of new machines.

Compared with the two-dimensional publishing model, the fully digital three-dimensional publishing model has a completely different design platform, and there are many unexpected difficulties.

"The steep technological steps, the pressing time for publishing pictures, and the many uncertain factors are bound to be the difficulties that lie in front of us. It is these difficulties that provide a platform to reflect the value of our existence. In just a few months, the all-digital digital-analog design of the entire body structure of the J-20 verification aircraft was completed and the drawings were officially released.

  In order to speed up the trial production progress, process design and product design were carried out in parallel, and the development team started the first part manufacturing only 7 days after the digital model was issued, and then the verification machine body structure was fully transferred to the trial production stage.

However, a large proportion of new materials, large-size structural parts, and processing requirements for stealth characteristics have brought challenges to the development of the F-20.

Aiming at the characteristics of the fully digital design of the F-20 verification aircraft, the aviation personnel have continued to innovate, enterprising, and experienced skills, and have successively broken through a series of key technologies.

The key parts were successfully trial-produced once, the large components were successfully assembled once, and the engine was unsealed and started up once.

  In order to guard every node of the J-20 aircraft, whether it is day or night, as long as everyone is on call, a large number of advanced and typical figures continue to emerge in various fields of design, testing, manufacturing, and flight testing.

At the same time, with the close coordination of hundreds of research and development units inside and outside the electronics industry, the performance of the F-20 aircraft has continued to improve.

  In the past 10 years, from the first flight to the public appearance at the Zhuhai Air Show, the sword "Zhu Rihe" to the armed forces, the J-20 aircraft has achieved the leap from the third generation to the fourth generation in the development of my country's aviation industry and the construction of aviation weapons and equipment.
