Nuremberg (dpa) - Under the guidance of assistant coach Tobias Schweinsteiger, 1. FC Nuremberg has ended Hamburger SV's small winning streak.

The Hanseatic League had to be content with a 1-1 (1-1) win in Franconia on Saturday after their last four successes, but remain leaders in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Striker Simon Terodde equalized in the 33rd minute with his 16th goal of the season the Nuremberg lead by the very agile midfielder Fabian Nürnberger (14th).

The "Club" had to do without the coach Robert Klauss, who was banned after his red card and who followed the game from the stands.

Tobias Schweinsteiger gave the commands for him on the sidelines.

Last season, the older brother of former world champion Bastian Schweinsteiger was Dieter Hecking's assistant coach at HSV.

FCN sports director Hecking was able to look forward to a good performance of his Nuremberg team against his former team.

The “Club” presented itself well against the slow-moving guests.

Nürnberger hit the crossbar on the first shot attempt (10th).

The midfielder completed a textbook-like move about Enrico Valentini and Robin Hack a little later with the 1-0.

Little came from the front runner, but HSV has Terodde: A cross from Bakery Jatta was spitted by the striker on the short post through the legs of FCN goalkeeper Christian Mathenia into the net.

Terodde almost finished a similar move with a 2-1 win (59th).

The center forward also had the chance to score the winning goal on the other side.

But Manuel Schäffler failed because of HSV goalkeeper Sven Ulreich (63rd).
