Hanover (dpa) - A 50-year-old is said to have stabbed his life partner of the same age in Hanover.
Nothing is known about the motive, the demonstration in front of the judge will be examined, said a police spokesman on Friday.
The man has not yet been questioned.
The investigation was in full swing, the police were in contact with the prosecutor.
The woman was stabbed to death on Thursday evening, the 50-year-old German dialed the emergency number around 10:00 p.m. and confessed to the crime.
