Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The state parents' council in Brandenburg has criticized the extension of the suspension of classroom teaching.
"We're shimmy from one temporary solution to the next," said its chairman Renè Mertens, on Friday the German press agency.
On Thursday evening, the Ministry of Education announced the extension of the school closings until January 22nd.
"Too late," complained Mertens.
He criticized the training for the learning cloud only now started.
Only 500 out of 900 schools are in the cloud.
With a view to the step-by-step plan for gradual openings, Mertens demanded that the elementary schools return after January 22 without changing classes.
In the case of alternating lessons, the care problem remains.
"That doesn't help either the students or the parents," criticized Mertens.
The parents' council fears that the closings will result in an increasing educational gap.
Next weekend, the committee wants to discuss the upcoming exams in addition to digital lessons.
