Kiel (dpa / lno) - For corona vaccinations, eligible Schleswig-Holstein residents can use a second telephone hotline to make an appointment in the future.
In addition to the previously often overloaded number 116 117, 0800 455 6550 is also available, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday.
Bookings will be possible again from next Tuesday.
Since this Monday, vaccinations have not only taken place in nursing homes and hospitals in the north, but also in 15 vaccination centers.
Eligible to vaccinate are people aged 80 and over, medical staff, and nursing and rescue workers.
The amount of vaccine available currently allows 15,000 appointments per week in the vaccination centers. Around 200,000 people over 80 live in the country. All available appointments were most recently booked within less than half an hour. With this, 7500 Schleswig-Holsteiners had again agreed their two vaccination appointments. The telephone hotline 116 117 is also used by other countries. Online registrations will also be possible again from next Tuesday (www.impfen-sh.de).
