  From the 5th to the 7th, Gallup of South Korea conducted a poll on the pardon of two former presidents, Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye, targeting 1,001 people over the age of 18 in South Korea.

The results showed that among all the respondents, 37% answered that they should be pardoned during the current government, 54% opposed the pardon, and 9% had reservations.

  In terms of age, 69% of people over 60 are in favor of pardons, while those between 50 and 59 and those under 50 who are in favour of the opinion account for only 37% and 21%, respectively.

  From the perspective of supporters of various parties, 70% of KMT supporters and 63% of conservatives are in favor of the pardon.

But 75% of the supporters of the Common Democratic Party and 78% of the progressives opposed the pardon.

  The reliability of this survey is 95%, and the specimen error is ±3.1%.
