Roberto Blanchedent, 32, was sentenced Thursday by the Vannes Criminal Court to 14 years in prison for a vast drug trafficking that took place in the Kercado district between July 2017 and January 2019.

Tried in his absence, the thirty-something, who refused to be extracted from his cell declaring to be sick, was found guilty of being the head of the network of this drug trafficking which could generate a turnover of 20,000 euros per day.

A customs fine of more than 500,000 euros

It was during a large operation carried out in January 2019 by the Raid teams and the judicial police that the traffic was dismantled.

About fifteen people had been arrested and large quantities of drugs seized.

On the run since September 2019 and was the subject of an international mandate, Roberto Blanchedent was arrested in September 2020 in Spain.

Already several times condemned by the courts for drug trafficking, he will also have to pay a customs fine of 532,862 euros.
