There is a lot going on for Austria's tourism industry this winter.
The ski areas have been open since December 24th, but the hotels are closed.
And in view of the still high number of infections, it is not clear whether and in what form there will be easing and thus a February season.
The currently applicable lockdown ends on January 24th, when hotels, restaurants and retail should be allowed to reopen.
