An amendment to the civil law banning corporal punishment of children in principle has been passed by the National Assembly.



In the civil law, the provision of'disciplinary rights for children' has been regarded as grounds for corporal punishment by parents and has been pointed out that it can be abused as child abuse.



With the passage of an amendment by the National Assembly, the provision of the'disciplinary right for children' has completely disappeared after 63 years.
