January 07, 2021 United States President Donald Trump has removed the three tweets from his profile that caused the temporary account block.

A Twitter spokesperson told CNN.

The move could allow Trump to regain control of his profile, which has been suspended.

Trump complied with the social network's request to delete tweets in order to unblock the profile.

Twitter had

announced that the profile would not be usable on a temporary basis due to violations of its policies, with 12 hours of blocking from the time the tweets were deleted.

Twitter also warned Trump of the permanent ban from the platform in case of further breaches.

When asked what

now Trump will be able to tweet again, Twitter declined to comment, CNN reported.

Meanwhile, yesterday's episodes have so far generated over 23.4 million 'tweets', for an average of 430 per second, according to data collected by Visibrain, a media platform that monitors the web and social media.

The mass of tweets produced by the raid on Capitol Hill was 2.5 times higher than that generated 24 hours after the US presidential election, which in turn triggered a volume of tweets six times higher than that of the 2016 US election .
