Outgoing US President Donald Trump pledged an "orderly transition" of power, minutes after Congress approved Joe Biden's victory in the presidential election.
Trump said, in a statement, "Although I completely disagree with the election result, and the facts confirm this, there will be an orderly transition on January 20."
"Although this marks the end of the greatest first term in the history of the presidency, it is only the beginning of our battle to make 'America great again'," he added.
