At Norrtåg's commuter from Luleå to Boden, several of the passengers this morning chose to follow the new recommendation for mouth protection.

- It is great with the new recommendations, I hope only the politicians also do it and put on mouth guards, says traveler Thomas Johansson.

In train traffic, it is still hoped that passengers will limit their travel.

- The previous recommendations still apply, to avoid traveling and definitely not if you have symptoms.

If you have to, try to adapt what times you travel and to wash your hands thoroughly and often, says Christer Berglund, business manager at Vy Tåg.

Opportunity to pick up mouth guards

If you yourself cannot arrange mouth guards, it is possible to collect mouth guards upon presentation of a ticket.

But this only applies to certain places in the four northernmost regions that Norrtåg operates.

Information on drop-off points and opening hours is obtained from the county traffic or the regional public transport authority in each county and is the same as for bus traffic.

- The mouthguard should be seen as a complement to commuting times.

Norrtåg continues with our measures to reduce the risks and if we help each other, those who have to travel can do so in a safe way, says Christer Berglund.
