For this simple health reminder, a Toulouse resident in a wheelchair and his wife, also disabled, were hit Tuesday, around 2 p.m., on the rather crowded platforms of the metro, according to information gathered from the police.
Under the violence of the blows, the man even fell from his wheelchair.
The two attackers, aged 14 and 16 and accompanied by an adult, tried to flee but they were quickly caught by the police from the Public Transport Security Unit and taken into custody.
Referred to the prosecution
From a police source, the two alleged attackers, the youngest of whom is already known to the services, were referred to the prosecution on Thursday for "aggravated violence in meetings".
Their companion, who did not strike a blow, was released.
