A 20-year-old man was taken into custody for homicide on his father in Nancy, reports

On Saturday, he had beaten the sixty-year-old in the family apartment.
Taken in serious condition to hospital, the victim died the next day.
The alleged murderer was arrested for the first time at the scene of the tragedy, but he was then released "because of his state of mental health" according to François Pérain, the public prosecutor of Nancy.
