His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, inspected yesterday the Kishisha and Shagrafa Park, located in the Rahmaniyah area in Sharjah.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah listened to an explanation from the Head of the Public Works Department, Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, about the project facilities, and the educational, recreational, social and sports services they contain that serve the people of the region.

His Highness began his visit by inspecting the Kishisha park project for families, familiarizing himself with the project's facilities, which include: the cultural forum, the social forum, outdoor playgrounds, the outdoor fitness equipment area, a lake, a running track, areas for games, tablet skating, a children's theater, as well as 55 outdoor sessions. His Highness also visited Shagrafa Park, which is designated for women, and examined its facilities and departments.

The park includes 41 outdoor sessions, three playgrounds, a social and cultural forum, areas for games, a theater, a running track, and areas for fitness equipment.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah made a number of observations, directing the project managers to make a number of modifications and equipment, to provide more comfort for visitors.

The area of ​​each of the Kishisha and Shaghara parks was 147,700 square meters, with four entrances, and each was supplemented with many local environmental trees, which added aesthetics to the place.

Within the framework of the Public Works Department’s endeavor to provide the best facilities and services, 416 parking spaces have been paved for each park.

His Highness was accompanied during the visit by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al-Zari Al Shamsi, CEO of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Marwan Jassim Al-Sarkal, and a number of officials and engineers of the project.
