Wang Wentao: The construction of a pilot free trade zone is an important strategic move of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core to promote reform and opening up in the new era.
Up to now, my country has established 21 pilot free trade zones, and the negative list for foreign investment access has been reduced to 30. The respective pilot trade zones have replicated and promoted 260 institutional innovations nationwide, effectively playing the role of reform and opening up pilot fields.
In the first 11 months of 2020, the pilot free trade zone contributed 16.4% of the country's foreign investment and 14.7% of imports and exports with less than four thousandths of the country's land area, making a positive contribution to stabilizing foreign trade and foreign investment.

The third is to focus on the development of the industrial chain, consolidate the industrial foundation, support the development of characteristic and advantageous industries in the respective trade pilot zones, and enhance the open development level of the industrial chain supply chain.
