January 07, 2021 "Shameful", "shocking", "worrying": the attack on the Capitol in Washington was strongly condemned by world leaders, who denounced an "attack on democracy" and demanded respect for the result of the elections presidential.

denounced "shameful scenes" and called for a "peaceful and orderly" transition of power to Democrat Joe Biden.

"Nothing can justify these violent attempts to prevent the transfer of legal and compliant power," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dominic Raab.
