After the storming of the Congress building in Washington by militant supporters of the elected US President Donald Trump, soldiers of the National Guard are sent to the US capital.

The White House announced on Wednesday.

After Trump gave a speech to demonstrators, angry supporters had moved to the Capitol and stormed the building.

Shortly before that, a session of Congress had taken place in the Capitol to confirm the results of the presidential election and thus the victory of Democrat Joe Biden.
