US President-elect Joe Biden considered the storming of the Congress by President Donald Trump's supporters an attack against the people, democracy, those who protect it, and the most sacred American institutions.

This came in a speech addressed to the American people today, Thursday, in response to the storming of the congressional building by supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump.

Biden said that this is an attack on the representatives of the people, who took the oath to protect the public interest and form the heart of democracy, adding that the scenes of chaos that appeared during the attack on the building "do not reflect the true America."

The President-elect stressed that the chaos must end immediately, calling on everyone to withdraw from Congress and allow democracy to take its course.

Biden expressed his great shock at "the arrival of America, the symbol of democracy, to this situation," considering that those who carried out these acts were "extremists out of the law."

The President-elect called on President Trump to show responsibility and get out to stop the chaos, stressing that ratification of the electoral college results should be sacred to American democracy.
