Erfurt (dpa / th) - Thuringia's teachers' association considers the state government's Corona requirements in the education sector to be not balanced.

The will to contain the pandemic is recognizable, but at the same time there is a lot of actionism, said association chairman Rolf Busch on Wednesday in Erfurt.

The decision has been made to bring the winter holidays forward to the end of January, but there is still no definition of the half-yearly reports.

They would likely be issued on February 5 as planned, Busch said.

Because the holidays are brought forward, the schools have one week less time to prepare their certificates.

Busch also reported concerns about the plan to suspend compulsory schooling for the second week of February in order not to thwart parents' possible vacation plans with their children in the original vacation week.

That means more stress for the schools than it brings.

There is also uncertainty about emergency care, for which confirmation from the parents' employers will be required from next Monday.
