Bochum (AP) - Second division soccer team VfL Bochum has awarded Moritz Römling to Wuppertaler SV until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old defender follows his team-mate Lars Holtkamp, who also switched to the regional league a few days ago on Leib basis.
Römling has only played one second division game at VfL this season.
“Working time is the be-all and end-all for young players. And since we can't offer him this time in the current squad, loan to a club in a demanding league is the most sensible solution,” said VfL managing director Sebastian Schindzielorz.
