Japan's public broadcaster NHK and others reported that the number of confirmed coronaviruses increased to 6,000 for the first time today (6th).
According to NHK statistics, by 8:40 this evening, there are 6,1 newly confirmed corona19 infections across Japan.
This is the number that changed the record for the most confirmed cases per day for two consecutive days following 4,915 yesterday.
The cumulative corona19 confirmed in Japan has increased to 260,150.
The Japanese government is planning to issue an emergency situation, including measures to refrain from going out tomorrow and shorten restaurant business hours, targeting the 1st and 3rd prefectures in the metropolitan area where corona is rapidly spreading.
