This unusual scene took place on Tuesday near Lyon.
In the morning around 5:15 am, these individuals, arriving in a van, broke the doors of a Relais Château de Saône-et-Loire, the establishment of Saint-Jean-de-Trézy, and stole hundreds of bottles. valued at 350,000 euros before heading south on the motorway, towards Lyon.
Awakened by the fire alarm, the owner immediately warned the gendarmerie, allowing a Chagny patrol to chase the criminals.

The van, however, struck a toll gate in Villefranche-sur-Saône.
“In the end, their vehicle landed on a sidewalk. They managed to vanish into the wilderness on the edge of the towns of Villeurbanne and Vaulx-en-Velin. Most of the loot, apart from the bottles thrown by the window, was found and is intact ", reports the gendarme.
At least three suspects are wanted and the Chalon-sur-Saône prosecutor's office has opened an investigation, entrusted to the Chalon-sur-Saône, Beaune and Bron Research Brigades.
Another burglary had already been committed the day before, Monday, also at dawn, in this same Relais Château, resulting in the disappearance of 200,000 euros of bottles but without the owner being awakened.
