A 56-year-old homeless man was found dead in his vehicle this Wednesday morning by the municipal police of Hendaye in the Basque Country.

At around 10:30 a.m., they discovered the victim as a group of homeless people worried about not seeing their friend get out of his car, reports France Bleu.

The agents tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him, in particular with a defibrillator.

Tuesday evening, they had already crossed this man in his car and had offered him a bed in an accommodation center according to a municipal official.

The victim, known to the city's social services, had refused.

The cold could be the cause of death even if for the moment, we do not know exactly the causes of death.
