Berlin (AP) - The German basketball champion Alba Berlin will fight the Braunschweig lions on January 20 for a place in the top 4 of the basketball cup.
The cup game in Group A, which failed on December 31, will be made up for at 7 p.m. in the Mercedes Benz Arena, the club announced on Twitter.
The game on New Year's Eve had to be canceled at short notice because the Braunschweig residents had received a quarantine order from the Braunschweig Health Department on the bus ride to the capital and had to turn back.
The game had to be rescheduled before, so it is now the third attempt.
Should Alba win, the Berliners would move into the final tournament as group A winners.
Alba already competes with the lions three days earlier.
The main round game in Braunschweig was postponed by one day from January 16th to January 17th (8.30pm / Magentasport).
In total, the weakened Berlin team play 13 games in January.
