Three swastikas were discovered Monday on the walls of the church of Echouboulains and the town hall of Vaux-le-Pénil, we learned from the prefecture of Seine-et-Marne.

The tags were accompanied by the inscription "Biobananas" as well as "free party" on the town hall, said the prefecture.

“The Prefect strongly condemns these unspeakable acts.

Police and gendarmerie are mobilized.

The perpetrators will not go unpunished, ”the prefecture said on its Twitter account.

For a week, swastikas attached to other words in a mysterious sense have flourished in various towns in the department.

About sixty graves in the municipal cemetery of Fontainebleau (Seine-et-Marne) were thus desecrated by pink, white and silver swastikas on the night of December 27 to 28.

The metal shutters of the municipal crèche in Melun were in turn tagged the next day with a pink swastika and the two words, “Biobananas” and “Charles”.

The investigation continues

"The inscriptions are on various walls and buildings, it is not targeted" to an institution or a community in particular, said the prosecutor's office in Melun.

No claim had been found there.

"These facts will be part of the ongoing investigation," said the prosecution, indicating that a suspect was arrested and released last week and that "the investigation continues".
