The sources indicated that the confrontations were concentrated in the eastern and western sectors of the Jabal Murad District, and on the outskirts of the road heading to the Rahba district, where the Houthi militia tried to regain the sites that they had lost a few days ago in the Rahba district, pointing out that the militias suffered great losses among their members, including leaders A prominent field, including the Houthi leader, Samih Al-Sanabani, nicknamed (AbuTrab).

In Al-Jawf, field sources confirmed the arrival of new reinforcements for the Yemeni army to the Al-Jawf fronts, concentrated in the areas east of the city of Al-Hazm, the capital of the governorate, and on the fronts of Bir Al-Marazeeq and Duhaida, confirming that great preparations are underway to complete the liberation of the province, under the direct supervision of the Chief of Staff of the Army The Yemeni commander of the joint operations, Lt. In Saada, coalition fighters bombed a Houthi position between the two districts of Al-Zahir and Waheedan in the western governorate of Ma'rib, killing and wounding many Houthi fighters and destroying their vehicles.

In Al-Dhalea, the joint and southern forces carried out a qualitative military operation on Houthi sites in Tabat Al-Nimrah and eastern Wadi Hajar, which led to the destruction of vehicles, the death and injury of Houthi elements, and the seizure of a large quantity of weapons.

In Hodeidah, the joint forces monitored 11 Houthi reconnaissance aircraft flying over separate areas of the governorate, as part of the militia's repeated violations of the UN armistice, four of them over the Al-Jabaliya area, three over the center of the city of Tuhayat, and four aircraft over the city of Hays.

The engineering teams of the joint forces dismantled two missiles, which the militias turned into improvised explosive devices, in the Al-Qudbah area, west of the Al-Durayhimi district, and the engineering teams conducted a field survey of the Al-Qudbah area, and managed to find and successfully dismantle two missiles left by the Houthis.

For its part, local sources confirmed that the coalition fighters managed to destroy a booby-trapped boat and a militia's booby-trap workshop in the port of Salif, north of Hodeidah, in the second operation in less than 10 days, in which terrorist operations targeting international shipping in the Red Sea were foiled.

The militias have renewed their targeting of residential neighborhoods in the Al-Jaruba neighborhood of Al-Tuhayta district, according to local sources, indicating that several neighborhoods have been targeted with automatic weapons from the Houthi militia indiscriminately, as well as residential neighborhoods on Fifty Street and 16 kilometers east of Hodeidah city.

On the other hand, preachers and guides on the western coast in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah affirmed support for the joint forces in the coast and along Yemeni territory, the necessity of fighting Houthi militias, protecting Yemen, its beliefs and unity, and promoting the moderate approach in it.

The UN envoy to Yemen visits Aden and Riyadh

The Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, will visit Aden and Riyadh, in the next few days, to meet the Yemeni president and the new government.

The UN envoy’s office said in a press statement yesterday: “The special envoy goes to Riyadh first, where he is scheduled to meet the Yemeni President, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and senior Saudi officials.”

The statement indicated that the envoy would then travel to Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen, to meet with the Prime Minister, Moein Abdel-Malek, and members of the Yemeni government.

This visit comes after the formation of the new government, and the attack on Aden airport, on December 30, which targeted government ministers, and left a large number of civilians dead and wounded.
