  China News Service, Shijiazhuang, January 5th. Since a new case of local new coronary pneumonia was confirmed in Shijiazhuang, Hebei on the 2nd, the current round of the epidemic in Hebei Province is currently spreading, and many places in the province have declared wartime status.

On the 5th, Xiaoguozhuang Village, Zengcun Town, Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City was adjusted to a high-risk area, which is currently the only high-risk area in the country.

  Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei province, was the first to declare wartime status on the 3rd.

On the afternoon of the 4th, the Xingtai City Leading Group for Response to the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Convened a scheduling meeting, emphasizing that it has entered a wartime state and resolutely blocked the spread of the epidemic.

As of press time, five places in Hebei Province, including Shijiazhuang City, Xingtai City, Dingzhou City, Hejian City, and Zhuolu County, Zhangjiakou City, have declared their wartime status.

  According to a report from the Hebei Provincial Health Commission on the 5th, from 0-24 on January 4, Hebei Province added 14 new confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia, including 11 cases in Shijiazhuang City and 3 cases in Xingtai City.

30 new cases of local asymptomatic infections were reported from Shijiazhuang City.

As of 24:00 on January 4, there are currently 19 confirmed cases in Hebei Province (2 severe cases, 15 ordinary cases, and 2 light cases).

  Starting from January 5, 2021, Hebei Province will adjust Xiaoguozhuang Village, Zengcun Town, Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City to a high-risk area.

Currently, Liujiazuo Village, Zengcun Town, Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City, Tiandi Mingcheng Community, Nangong City, Xingtai City, and Tianyiheyuan Community, Nangong City, Xingtai City, are medium-risk areas.

The rest of the province is a low-risk area.
