The Elysee Palace said Tuesday that the Head of State intends to appoint the Member of Parliament for Eure-et-Loire, Laure de La Raudière, as head of the Telecoms Regulatory Authority (Arcep).

She will succeed Sébastien Soriano, whose term ended in early January.

"The President of the Republic plans, on a proposal from the Prime Minister, to appoint Laure de La Raudière as president of the regulatory authority for electronic communications, posts and press distribution (Arcep)", specified the Elysee.
