Students at the county's upper secondary schools will not return to school after the Christmas holidays - all teaching will instead be conducted at a distance until 24 January.
That on the advice of the infection control, which SVT Nyheter Blekinge was able to reveal already on Monday.
Blekinge's municipal upper secondary schools have just over 4,000 students.
Another nearly 1,000 students at the independent schools in the county will also be affected then, as SVT's tour today shows that they will follow the municipalities' line.
In total, about 5,000 high school students are affected around Blekinge.
