The updated situation in Italy and in the world

There are 15,378 new cases of coronavirus positivity recorded in the last 24 hours and the number of deaths also rises: 649 since yesterday.

An increase compared to yesterday, when there were 10,800.

The total of positives since the start of the pandemic is now 2,181,619.



The number of daily victims due to covid in Italy is growing again, 649 in the last twenty-four hours.

Yesterday there were 348, Sunday 347. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin on the coronavirus issued by the Civil Protection and the Ministry of Health.



135,106 swabs were carried out in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

The positivity rate drops to 11.4%.



Puglia

Today in Puglia, 10,273 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection have been recorded and

1,081

positive cases

have been recorded

.

14 deaths were recorded: 6 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 2 in the province of Foggia, 5 in the province of Taranto.

Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,075,382 tests have been carried out.

39,235 patients are cured, 53,580 are currently positive cases.

The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 95,365.



Emilia Romagna

Slight decrease in daily coronavirus infections in Emilia-Romagna and three fewer patients in intensive care in the region, but there are another 64 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic with the total number of victims exceeding 8 thousand.

There are

1,506

new cases out of a total of 15,795 swabs performed in the last 24 hours (positivity rate of 9.2%), average age 49 years.

12,160 quick swabs were also carried out since yesterday.

232 people are hospitalized in intensive care, three fewer since yesterday, and 2,696 patients (+12) in the other Covid wards.

As for the total people healed, they are 647 more than yesterday (total 115,907), while the active cases are 57,177 (+795), 95% in isolation at home.



Lazio

Today out of over 13,000 tampons in Lazio (+3,373) there are

1,719

positive cases (+385), 72 deaths (+49) and +1,416 recovered.

Cases, deaths and hospitalizations are increasing, while intensive care is decreasing.

The ratio between positives and buffers is 13% but if the antigenic substances are also considered the percentage drops to 4.6%.

Cases in Rome city return to 700. 



Friuli Venezia Giulia

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia

1,131

new infections

have been detected

on 9,594 swabs (equal to 11.8%), of which 2,489 rapid antigenic tests.

There are 20 recorded deaths, plus 21 previous deaths relating to the period between November 16 and December 22, 2020. The admissions in intensive care units drop to 59 while those in other departments amount to 657. People tested positive for the virus in in the region since the beginning of the pandemic there are a total of 54,891.

The overall deaths amounted to 1,772.

The totally healed increase to 37,688, the clinically healed rise to 1,016, while the people in isolation are 11,078.
