Germany is tightening restrictions to slow the coronavirus outbreak.

Angela Merkel announced the extension of the confinement until January 31.

Most non-food stores, bars, restaurants, cultural and leisure facilities and schools will remain closed. "We must regulate meetings more strictly (...). We ask all citizens to limit their contacts minimum subsistence ", declared the German Chancellor.

Berlin will also restrict contact between people.

Thus, members of the same household will only be allowed to meet with one additional person, Chancellor Angela Merkel and the leaders of the country's 16 Länder announced on Tuesday.
