▲ Candidate Park Bum-gye, Minister of Justice

It was pointed out today (4th) that the candidate Park Beom-gye, the Minister of Justice, had left over 6,000 pyeong of real estate from reporting the property of public officials.

According to the data obtained by Rep. Yoo Sang-beom of the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee, Candidate Park owns half a stake (approximately 6,424 pyeong) of 42,476m2 of forest in Yakmok-ri, Shenzhen-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, but did not report this.

The forest field registered at the age of 7 in the name of Candidate Park is the selection of candidate Park's family.

Candidate Park reported the forest field as his own when Roh Moo-hyun was appointed as Secretary of Civil Affairs 2 of the Blue House in August 2003.

However, after being elected in the 19th general election in 2012, while serving as a third-party parliamentary, he was removed from the property list.

Rep. Yoo argued, "It is deliberate in that the forest area where property registration has already been made has been continuously omitted from the report since 2012."

Rep. Yoo pointed out that "Considering that Rep. Cho Su-jin and Kim Hong-geol are being prosecuted or being tried for omission of property, the case of Candidate Park has serious moral flaws, even though the statute of limitations was already in October last year and punishment is impossible." I did.

In response, candidate Park's personnel hearing preparatory group explained, "The forest field was included in the list when reporting property directly in 2003. After election as a member of the National Assembly, it was omitted in the process of reporting property."

In particular, candidate Park's share has a low economic value of only 29.91 million won (1,555 won per 1 ㎡) based on the currently announced land price, so there is no reason to deliberately omit the report.

The preparatory group said, "It is due to the fact that the candidates from the high-grandfather to the parents have ancestral oxygen, and because they have acquired shares since the age of 7, they were not recognized as a property that can be disposed of in general." I'm here."
