Vaccination at the county's nursing homes is progressing: "Has come halfway"

Eskilstuna, Nyköping and Katrineholm were the first to introduce vaccination in nursing homes when it started last week.

Now the work continues and on Monday the first doses were given in Strängnäs, Gnesta and Flen.

At present, the region receives about 2,900 doses a week and all will be used.

Once the EU has approved Modern and Astra Zeneca's vaccines, more people will be able to be vaccinated.

- If there are more doses per week, we will rig for this, says Mats Henningsson.

In two weeks, those who have home care and home health care, among others, will receive their first dose.
