China News Service, Beijing, January 4 (Gao Chao Qin Chuang Guo Chaokai) A reporter learned from the China Satellite Marine Monitoring and Control Department that on the morning of January 4, the Yuanwang 5 ship slowly left the dock and went to the Pacific Ocean to perform multiple marine monitoring and control missions. This move marks the official start of the 2021 mission of the China Satellite Marine Monitoring and Control Department.

In 2020, China’s four space launch sites have completed 39 space launch missions. As one of the main forces in space measurement and control, the China Satellite Marine Monitoring and Control Department has traveled to the Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and other waters to complete Tianwen-1 and Chang'e Five. No. 15 spacecraft launched maritime measurement and control missions.

The number of missions performed by the Yuanwang ship throughout the year, the accumulated voyage mileage, and the average number of days a single ship went to sea all hit a record high.

Yuanwang No. 5 ship turned the bow and ran towards the ocean.

According to the relevant person in charge of the China Satellite Maritime Observation and Control Department, according to the overall plan and arrangement of space launch missions, the Yuanwang ship will continue to maintain a high-density and difficult mission situation this year, and the Yuanwang 5 ship alone will perform nearly 10 times at sea. For measurement and control tasks, the offshore operation time is expected to exceed 200 days.

Facing the dual pressures of normalized epidemic prevention and control and mission preparation, the China Satellite Maritime Observation and Control Department has continuously formulated and issued mission control measures, and innovated work modes such as satellite-to-ground docking, navigation inspection, document verification, terminal inspection and inspection, and effectively shortened Terminal task preparation cycle.

During the short 20 days when the Yuanwang No. 5 ship was in the port, it immediately organized the ship to enter the factory for maintenance, equipment overhaul, material supply and personnel rest, and carried out targeted equipment performance index testing and in-ship joint drills to ensure that there were no hidden problems. Go to sea.

At present, Yuanwang No. 3 and No. 6 ships, which have successfully completed multiple maritime measurement and control tasks, are returning at full speed. Soon, Yuanwang No. 22 will set sail again, and Yuanwang No. 7 which has just completed the revision and construction is also actively following up Preparation for the mission, the Chinese astronauts are running with all their strength on the journey to chase the stars and the sea.
