Oslo (AP) - Among the seven fatalities found so far in the landslide in Norway is a two-year-old girl.

The responsible police announced the names of four other people who had died late on Sunday evening - in addition to the girl born in 2018, her 40-year-old father as well as a 54-year-old and a 29-year-old.

The police had previously published the identity of the first death victim discovered, a 31-year-old man.

This means that five of the seven victims found have been identified so far.

The little girl's 31-year-old mother was also one of the ten originally missing.

It is unclear whether she is one of the two so far unidentified dead or is still missing.

According to the Norwegian broadcaster NRK, the woman was pregnant.

The violent landslide in Ask in the municipality of Gjerdrum around 40 kilometers northeast of Oslo occurred in the early morning of December 30th.

As a result, ten people were missing.

So far, seven dead have been found in the disaster area several hundred meters long and wide.

The search for the remaining missing persons continued unabated on Monday.

The police said in the morning that they believe that the rescue operation will continue to find survivors.
