Skånetrafiken will not provide mouth protection on board buses and trains.

- It is a recommendation from the Swedish Public Health Agency that you use mouth guards during rush hour and it is the passenger's own responsibility to acquire the mouth guard, use it correctly and to throw it away after use, says Ulf Welin, acting traffic director at Skånetrafiken.

On the other hand, there is an opportunity for those who have forgotten to bring a mouth guard to pick one up at Skånetrafiken's customer center upon presentation of a valid ticket.

Customer centers are located in Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg and Kristianstad.

No one is thrown away

Even those who do not wear mouth guards will be able to travel by train and bus in Skåne even after 7 January.

Skånetrafiken announces that no passenger will be rejected.

The recommendation with mouth guards in public transport applies first and foremost during rush hour between 7 and 9 and between 16 and 18.
