According to TASS, this was stated by the acting Minister of Health of the republic Hamad Hasan.
According to him, the reason for the decision is the critical situation in medical institutions after the New Year holidays.
During this period, in particular, shopping malls, cafes, restaurants, gyms, museums and cinemas will not work.
“We are forced to take exceptional measures, since the intensive care units are filled to capacity,” he stressed.
He also added that a curfew will be introduced in the country, which will operate from 18:00 to 05:00.
Earlier it was reported that the Scottish authorities will introduce full quarantine in the region from January 5 due to the situation with the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
