Terrible discovery on Sunday evening in the Méan-Penhoët district in Saint-Nazaire.

The bloodied and lifeless body of a 40-year-old man was found by a local resident below a building.

He died a few minutes later despite the intervention of firefighters and Samu, reports the national police.

Investigators were able to quickly identify the victim who lived on the third floor.

In his apartment, they discovered a bloody cutter on the balcony, as well as a note left by the victim.

The hypothesis of suicide is therefore privileged.

"After examining the body, it appeared that the victim had self-injured with the cutter by severing his right side of the neck, and that the body fell from the

third floor by tipping over the railing of the balcony", indicates the police.

The victim presented several internal fractures.
