Instead of an attractive young woman, a 28-year-old encountered a man at the meeting who demanded money from him, the police in Essen announced on Monday.
Otherwise, he will show the chat history that led to the meeting to the 28-year-old's wife.
The man then paid the blackmailer money, but was still blackmailed by him.
The married 28-year-old finally revealed himself to his wife and filmed his tormentor at an alleged handover in Essen.
