According to the latest figures released on Monday by Public Health France, the number of hospitalizations due to Covid-19 is increasing, but resuscitations are down very slightly.

In total, 65,415 people have died in France since the start of the epidemic, or 378 additional deaths in 24 hours in hospital.

After crossing the threshold of 65,000 deaths due to Covid-19 on Sunday, France had 65,415 dead on Monday since the start of the epidemic, according to the latest figures from Public Health France.

More than 4,000 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in 24 hours in France (4,022), but this figure should be taken with caution because of the holiday weekend preceding the last lifts.

As of Sunday, more than 12,000 positive tests had been identified.

378 new hospital deaths

In 24 hours, 378 new deaths were therefore reported to the hospital.

The number of patients currently hospitalized for Covid-19 is 24,995 on Monday, or 182 more than on Sunday, with 1,258 new admissions in 24 hours.

The number of patients in intensive care or intensive care is itself down very slightly, with 2,666 people in these services, or eight patients less than on Sunday, with 245 new admissions.
