Münster (dpa / lnw) - A man was seriously injured on Sunday evening in a traffic accident on a wet road near Münster.
For reasons unknown, his car crashed into a parked van and then landed in a ditch, the fire brigade announced.
"The driver was trapped in his vehicle and seriously injured after the rollover," it said.
Due to the "unstable" situation in the trench, the fire brigade spoke of a very costly rescue - the 20-year-old man could only be freed from the wreck and taken to a hospital after around 45 minutes.
