Once again, it is noticeable when the local elections in the state have been given a decisive role in the future of American politics. - - I think we all really want the same thing, says Lisa Chasin, one of the many election workers who try to attract people to the polls nearing its end.
The state has been given a significant role since the US election - the Senate election kicks off on January 5, and the result could give Democrats full control over Congress.
SVT's correspondent has visited Atlanta, Martin Luther King's hometown, and talked to, among others, Sal York who is black, Muslim and voted for Trump.
