Liberal voters do not like the party cooperating with the Social Democrats and the Green Party - so the debaters explain the low voter support that for a long time, since the election, was under the parliamentary barrier.

In the debate article, the party board is called upon to convene a party council as soon as possible to make a decision on the government issue.

"We believe that the Liberals should return to other bourgeois parties and with them form a common vision for the 2022 election," the 120 party members wrote.

Stands behind Sabuni

The authors of the article write that they are behind the party leader Nyamko Sabuni and that the purpose of the article is to show that they give their support to a change of course before the 2022 election.

"We are ideologically closer to the other bourgeois parties than to the socialist ones.

In factual policy, there is a close consensus within, for example, labor market, criminal, migration, healthcare, energy, defense, tax and corporate policy, ”they write further.

They also refer to a survey from Demoskop which shows that a majority of the Liberals' voters would rather see Ulf Kristersson than Stefan Löfven as prime minister.

SVT Nyheter is looking for Nyamko Sabuni for a comment.
