Fighting depends on "preparation" and the key is "preparation"

As far as the army is concerned, there is no peace period, there are only two states of war and preparation for war.

At the beginning of the new year, from the sea to the sky, from Pingchuan to the plateau, the whole army is surging up and down with an upsurge of training close to actual combat, with great strength and strength, tempering the confidence and ability to come, come, fight, and win in battle.

"Faced with the complex and changeable international and surrounding security situation, we must not only make solid advances in military struggle preparations, but also work hard to prepare for the preparations." A leader said about "preparation" and "preparation" when planning the new year's military training and preparation work. The words "quasi" are worthy of consideration.

Preparing for war is a decade of sharpening a sword, and actual combat is a trial of strength.

"The fierce and tense competition between countries to prepare for war is the real never-ending war. The engagement is only a public confirmation of the advantage gained during the peace interval." The advantage of war is prepared.

Judging from historical experience, the more solidly prepared, the smoother the battle, and the more likely it is to "succumb to the enemy without fighting." On the contrary, if you hold on to the mentality of "waiting to fight and prepare again", procrastinating and slowing down. The fence is not fastened, the sword that should be sharpened is not sharp, the martial arts that should be practiced are not refined, and once the war comes, you will be caught off guard.

There is an unavoidable fact: you have advanced armor and weapons, you have them, you have them in preparation for military struggle, and you can train them for actual combat training, but in the end, some "talk and laugh, you will be wiped out." Some "go to the country for three thousand miles and become prisoners."

The starting point is the same, but the results are quite different. What is the reason?

It lies in the difference between "preparation" and "preparation".

The practice of war tells us that to prepare for military struggle, "reality" is the foundation and "precision" is the key.

There are different levels of strength in preparation, and there is a difference in efficiency; preparation is based on preparation, and the effect of preparation is reflected in preparation.

In the future battlefield, if you can't aim at the opponent's bullseye and cannot see the sight of modern warfare, the more you "prepare", the greater the waste, and the further you digress.

A strategist once said: "Even the wealthiest countries cannot stand blindly acting in a life and death struggle." The root cause of the French army's defeat in the early days of World War II was that they built the entire war preparation system in the trenches. , Barbed wire, and firepower barriers, which are outdated and run counter to the future development, so no matter how hard they work on the Maginot Line, they will not be able to escape the fate of failure.

On the contrary, although the German "blitzkrieg" theory was not perfect at the time, it was able to sweep the European battlefield because of the power of new forces such as tanks and airplanes.

Both positive and negative examples remind us that only by planning today's preparations and designing tomorrow's war with a newer and more courageous mind can we finally get the "pass" to victory.

The world is different, the thing is different, and the thing is different.

The 2020 Military Training Conference of the Central Military Commission proposed: "Accelerate the construction of a new military training system", "Improve the full-cycle and refined training management level", "Strengthen training of new equipment, new forces and new fields"... From this we can see that the science of our military training The level is improving steadily, and the transformation and upgrading of military training that we are diligently pursuing is progressing in earnest.

However, we should also be soberly aware that the phenomenon of "narrow" and "biased" training in military preparations by individual units still exists.

Some shouted to win tomorrow's war, but their heads stayed in the past tactics; some talked about joint training, but the drill was content to fight alone.

The main reason is that the battle cannot be fought for a while, and there is greater arbitrariness in what to practice, how to practice, and how much to practice, and the challenges brought by a fresh form of war are not fully recognized.

This kind of "poor cognition" and "poor thinking" will inevitably lead to "bad wins" on the battlefield.

Revolutionary ancestors once warned: "You can't ask Qiaoqiao to know what is going on in the war, or ask Mumu if you don't know!" During the war, our soldiers knew very well that if we didn't fight what wars, where they would fight, and what opponents they would fight. If you study the war thoroughly, you will be aimless when you are ready to fight, and you will bleed to death.

During the Anti-Japanese War, the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army conscientiously summed up its combat experience and decided to open a guerrilla training class in Liao County.

In view of the actual situation of the troops, Japanese combat rules and tactical characteristics, Liu Bocheng specifically explained the tactical principles of "collecting by dissipating consumption and dispersing by dispersing" for the training class, and analyzed the example of "hornet siege warhorse."

"A sparrow is flying all over the sky on the Taihang Mountains!" The trained guerrilla group scattered all around, causing the Japanese army to be like a man on their backs and their throats.

"The real training ground is in front of the enemy." In-depth implementation of training and preparation for war requires closely following the evolution of war patterns and combat methods, in-depth study of combat opponents and combat environment, and what battles will be fought in the future, who to fight against, and where. Find out how to fight and how to fight; find out where the strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and what should be done; strengthen the ability to design wars and plan operations, seek effective strategies for winning, and study flexible wars Law strategy, exploring effective combat operations.

Judging from the practice of our military preparations and warfare, all troops that have continuously improved their actual combat capabilities have one thing in common, that is, "know who the enemy is, know where the enemy is, and know how to fight the enemy", and always practice military strategies in the context of actual combat. war.

Whether an army can win future wars does not depend on the time span from the previous war, but on the level of understanding and preparation for the next war.

Focus on the battlefield, focus, and then focus; training approaches, approach, and then approach to actual combat.

Keeping the guideline of military struggle preparation always aligned with the "next war" and using solid training to "reinforce the future" can the level of combat effectiveness be truly improved, the people's homeland will be safer, and the dignity of the motherland will be strongly guaranteed.
