Los Angeles (AP) - According to a media report, the legendary American talk show host Larry King is sick with Covid-19 and has to be treated as an inpatient in the hospital.
The 87-year-old TV star was brought to the clinic in Los Angeles a week ago, reported his long-term employer CNN on Saturday, citing the family environment.
His three sons are currently unable to visit King due to infection control rules.
At first nothing was known about the severity of his illness.
King became known with his show "Larry King Live", which was shown from 1985 to 2010 on CNN.
His almost always identical outfit with horn-rimmed glasses, shirt and suspenders became his trademark.
In the program, the award-winning journalist interviewed Hollywood stars, athletes, top managers and top politicians, including Russian Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin and US presidents from Gerald Ford to Barack Obama.
